Gazprom Neft more than doubles Prirazlomnoye oil output in 2016

MOSCOW, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- Oil company Gazprom Neft more than doubled production at the Prirazlomnoye oil field to 2.154 million tonnes of the Arctic Oil (ARCO) blend in 2016, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

In 2015, the company transferred more than 800,000 tonnes of oil to consumers in Northwest Europe.

The Prirazlomnoye field is the only field on the Russian Arctic shelf where industrial production of oil is going on. The field’s recoverable reserves exceed 70 million tonnes of oil.
